From the planet of superheroes to a software company beyond limits
Every name has a story, and Kryptun's began with one question: what do you call a software company that only settles for super work?
A name worthy of “super” work
We were looking for a name, and we already knew exactly what we wanted to deliver: websites, apps and software of a quality no one argues with, the kind of work people describe in one word: “super”. We thought about it for a long time, until the answer came from beyond Earth.
Planet Krypton: a factory of heroes
Krypton is the planet Superman came from, a world of superheroes, a factory of heroes, if you like. We wanted to be a factory of super digital solutions, so we took the planet's name and made it ours: Kryptun.
Why not Kryptonite?Kryptonite
We considered Kryptonite too, the famous stone from the same planet. But it's Superman's only weakness, and we didn't want our name to carry the one thing that weakens the hero we love. We're here to build strength, not to break it.
A slogan we outgrew
Our first slogan was “Developing Super Apps & Websites”. Over time we found it boxed us into two services, while our work grew to cover custom software, ERP systems, digital marketing and SEO. So we chose a slogan the size of our ambition.

Today we work with clients in Egypt and the Gulf from the first idea to launch and beyond: we design the user experience, build websites, apps and custom software, and help them show up in search and reach their customers. And from the same spirit came KOTYX, our digital hero. Meet KOTYX
